I'll take all three, thanks.

My Golf looks almost exactly the same, even the wheels are very similar (mine's got fewer holes). One minor difference; my Golf's got the base 1.3i engine. Oh, and it's got 290k on the odometer in is parked semi-permanently in a barn...
I'd take the 205 first though, and the Golf as a close second. The Swift is (to me) a distant third.

Agreed. I already have a MKVI GTI, so the Pug is definitely my first choice of these three.
Also, nice job on the Golf! I always smile seeing them out on the road; there's a man with a baby blue MKI or MKII Rabbit Diesel someplace around here that I see occasionally. Never had the opportunity to ask about the history yet though.

If you think I'm doing well with the Golf, consider what I've done with the winter wheels of my current DD :)
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Anyway, I still see frequently see mk2 Golfs and Peugeot 205s on the road. Both are relatively reliable, simple to fix and have a huge and cheap parts supply (here).

Hah, that's awesome. I love those wheels, too.
I do love the look of both cars you mentioned - maybe further down the road I'll pick one up for fun. Quite a few cars I want first, though, unfortunately.
