I love Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday. That movie is a childhood classic for me.

Same. I haven't watched it in years. Completely forgot Michael Biehn was in it.

I have the collectors edition, watch it all the time. Love it.

Funny story, Kevin Costner was on board with this. Then there was some disagreement over who the flick was gonna focus on. Costner wanted a Wyatt focused epic, Russell wanted the movie that Tombstone is. So Costner made Wyatt Earp, which is way too long and disjointed. But the crazy part is some of the same characters(obviously played by very different actors) have a lot of the same lines, word for word, in the same dialect. Anyways...not a huge deal...but I got a kick out of it.

Didn't know that about the Costner version. Never really wanted to watch that one for some reason, now even less so. Open Range from Costner is really good though. Definitely long winded, but worth it for one of the best shootouts ever.

"I shot him dead because —
Because he was my foe,
Just so: my foe of course he was;
That's clear enough; although

"He thought he'd fight, perhaps,
All drunk like — just as I,
I his dentist — I'd fix'd his caps —
And now I'd make him die.

"Yes; quaint and strange, our Western way!
You shoot a fellow down
You'd treat if met rot and tooth decay
To cleaning, and a crown."
