A moment to appreciate what is possibly my favorite feature ever to be installed on any car. "Because Alfa."

Chrysler had a similar fader joystick in some of their corporate radios around the early 2000's. Only problem was that it was so touchy that you had to move it while stopped otherwise your ears went for a wild trip...

Wasn't this on the Saab 9000 too? (which is basically the same car as the Alfa)

I did not know this! And that's just about exactly the same, holy crap. I feel like I've missed out on so much by not knowing this. What else don't I know? Answer - everything!

Not sure, only been in 900s and a turbo 99! I'm starting to not feel so special. :(

I dug up an image.... Scratch that - there were many Chrysler radios that had this feature according to the image search results I am seeing...
AND... Looky there:

Yup... No surprise, though... I was trying to make out the Radio Sales code (RA3, RK3 ?) on the late model version... It's JUST too small of an image and I cannot 'ENHANCE!'... :(

I remember this from my parents' Chrysler minivan growing up...ah, the memories. I loved messing with the fader with that cool little switch.
Redd, the RX-7 that could
