I have a confession. I don't own a set of winter tires. I'm on summer tires still. I've always driven in summer tires in past winters. I just drive carefully. I've never been in an accident.
I feel like a small weight has been lifted off my chest.

I wouldn't try it today. This snow is particularly slippery for some reason. I think it's layering/packing on itself. I had some trouble starting out and I have winter tires. I saw cars stuck on very tiny inclines on main roads. No bueno. I'm in the Philly burbs btw. Check out my very related post from a couple minutes ago =)

Why not all-season tires? There are plenty of really good ones!

Well, since I have AWD, I have to replace all 4 tires. Yes, I know I'm saving for a project car, but I really don't drive around in the snow, and right now, my tires don't need to be replaced.
