Amazing that there are two people (or more if I'm blind) whose job is just to hold onto the sides of the car.
Also, at one point I noticed they had two rear jacks. Both started going for it, but then the one guy got in first and the other just sort of stood back doing nothing. Did they really not notice that they had two guys trying to do the same thing?

Can't tell if serious about the rear jack question.

One is the primary jack, one is the backup. They both position themselves behind the car, but the backup stops short.

They also have two front jacks, and each wheel nut man has two guns.

I skipped through the video and only saw he backup guy once, then. At one point the jack is there and he's not. I dunno. It's nearly six in the morning and I can't brain.

Ha, I noticed that too.

It's practice. The backup guy probably gets less practice than the main guy since it's hard to simulate a broken jack.

As far as I know those people are indeed there to hold the car. Otherwise it tends to bounce on the jacks as the revs rise and fall, making it harder to get the wheel-nut guns on.

This video makes me a little bit sad that we had no rain during any of the F1 races this year (or not enough to use intermediate/wet tires). I apparently have a thing for a nice tire tread...
