Yeah pretty sure the ls engine is actually quite light. Really common swap in 350zs these days, and I don't think it really weighs any more than the vq35.

A decade from now, people will be picking these things up for 10% of current MSRP and sticking LS1s in them all day. You can already get a 5.3 for ~$500 now, which is basically nothing. Good luck passing smog in the more restrictive states with this thing though...

Haha, yeah we joke about how he needs a Z06 engine or an lsa, but that monster would work as well.

In my dream world, I want a gto with a monster engine such as the one pictured, then I'd take the ls2 from it and put it in my 350z, the vq35 would then go into a 240sx and the KA24 would then go into a Datsun 510. Viola musical engine dream garage!
