Laguna Seca in 1:21.064 in the Ferrari F333 in Fourza. Tell me your times so I can realize how slow I actually am...

*Other possibly relevant info: With a controller, no driver assists, manual(no clutch), and simulation everything.

LS is my test track for all my cars so I'll run one on it tomorrow. What is the PI of the F333?

The best I've run on Laguna Seca is about 1:17 or 1:18 in an Audi R18, which is in the top 1% or so, so you're not far off the pace for most racers I imagine.

By PI you mean the little number thingy? Like 971(?) or so.

Nice. I can definitely get another second off my time, not sure if I could get it lower than that though. I had a few places where I was trying to keep it on the track, not go fast.

That's the problem with R1 cars, they're such a handful on track, especially with realistic steering and no TC. It seems like if you can manage a 1:20 time with no assists you can definitely improve it with practice. You just have to get used to R1 cars, especially with little to no assists.

PS- you're a madman for no clutch w/ a controller in R1, haha.

Definitely, I've found that those beasts are unsavable when you lose it, might as well just take the lump and take it slow for the rest of the lap and figure out line improvements. And it's easier with clutch? O.o

The simulation steering only gets me on the low speed corners, ABS gives me too much confidence and I end up not driving as smooth, TCS/ESC is for jive-turkeys.

I finally got a half hour to put some laps in. I think I could find another half second with some more work, but I started to get sweaty. The 333 is no walk in the park.

Fanatec CSR wheel, CRS elite pedals, abs off, stability off, manual (flappy paddles), simulation steering, braking line full off. Whew. Here's the time

Kinja'd!!!

In case of Kinja'd, that's a 1:18.471

I was able to get mine down into the 20's last night, I think I'm gonna chalk the last few seconds up to the wheel.
