YouTube channel SimplePickUp has a ton of videos on their channel about picking up women in various scenarios.

A few weeks ago, they made a video about raising money toward breast cancer research. They motorboated women to the tune of $20 per woman motorboated raised. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) was not amused as shown in this email below and neither was !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

I thought that was the end of it but they had other ideas.

Well, they decided to just take the $$$ raised and returned to them from the BCRF and simply find a random lady suffering from breat cancer and give her the money directly for her medical bills

Of all the websites in the Gawker blogosphere, Jez is the only one where I don't feel welcome. Maybe it's because the site explicitly states they are "for women", maybe it's because the articles are written for women (I assume they are written for women when they use words like "your vagina"), but that website and reality are so far off, it's like a 100% permanent facepalm always.

Fuck BCRF. That's 7 grand, real money. Isn't 7 grand towards research and/or support more important than bending to some traffic-attracting fake outrage?

I watched a little bit of the video the first time it was posted, and I thought there was no way in hell those douches would actually donate that much. Because the video is, if nothing else, very douchey. So good on ya douches.

You may be right. On the other hand, the money's gone to help a breast cancer patient anyway, and they may well get more than $7k in free (donation-raising) publicity as a result of all this.
