Why do you do it and how do you resist the temptation to play with them?

I don't have any in box hotwheels, all my Greenlights are in box because they are all limited production
I do become tempted though...

I always tell myself "All right, from now on I'm gonna keep them in the package. I am not a 5 year old, I am a serious collector." Then, after about 2 days, they end up open. I can't resist the temptation. I don't have a single one in-package...I think I enjoy them more when they're open.

It may have something to do with hoarding, but I think its more enjoyable to tell my 3 year old she can't open them, and watching her figure out how to when I give her one.
Also I'm not 5 anymore, and put them up so the temptation isn't present.

I open some. The ones that are actually rare/valuable stay in package, though. Sometimes opening it can cut the value by $20 or more, and that just isn't worth it to me.
