Smells like it too.
Who would want too marry an incompetent bitch who doesn't know the real specs of a car....
My girl at least knows what a nice car is, she can't run off specs but she knows what's what

Much all wheel driver
Very grammar
That said, the only automotive knowledge my girlfriend knows is what I've taught her. It's really hard to teach someone about cars when they're only interested in it for you, but I'm pretty surprised by what she has retained. Part of the problem is that she generally doesn't know what I'm talking about and I'll go on and on and on about whatever automotive thing I'm talking to her about so she gets lost.

My girlfriend is the same.
She zones out on me sometimes.
But she likes learning about cars.
And is willing to listen to me talk about them, she's learning slowly but surely.

I give her alot of credit for even trying to listen to my ramble on about cars. Imagine you knew nothing about cars and you tried to read some of the posts here on Oppo. You'd be completely lost after the first few sentences. She's picked up alot though. She's gotten better at identifying cars, she knows what an independent rear suspension is now, I think she understands the differences between a pushrod and OHC motor. It's a process but I don't mind it. Naturally there are areas in which she's far more knowledgeable than I am.

My girlfriend is good with girly stuff....
I'm good with the fix it stuff, I can weld, do electrical work, fix cars, do plmbing and all the fun stuff.
She can identify cars on her own mostly, but will ask me what something is if she is stumped.

I like to play a driving game where I pick a brand or two and have her spot any models from those brands. She's not half bad at it.

I may play this game....
We went to the Tesla Store in MAss and had some fun, I was showing her all the parts of a car on the naked chassis they had there

That would be perfect for teaching her. I love finding cross sections and diagrams to explain things to her.

I've gone over turbo chargers, clutches, manual transmissions, a lot of things I can talk about on the fly while I am driving and demonstrate as well.
Like the turbo showing her the gauge and explaining how it pressurises air in one portion using the exhaust gas on another section.
Then the clutch how it engages and disengages a connection between the engine and transmission
And a manual transmission by showing and explaining how it works. Like with the ratios and what not.
Its all into how you word it,

Except they have a 2.6 I think, and not 800hp from the factory lol
Its just funny how some people believe this car is a god, its not.

It's all good.
I'm running on like 10 hours of sleep, and just pure annoyance from everyone around me right now.

one of the mods commonly made when tweaking rb26detts for raw power is stroking the motor to 2.8L for more low end torque, so it's plausible

800hp though...
And for her to just spout off knowing whats done... lol

I'm going to try to teach her to drive stick soon. I let her shift every so often and she said she likes the "snick-snick" feel of the gearbox so there is some hope that I can convert her to manuals.

Possibly next time I see her I will make an attempt at the risk of my drivetrain...
Stage 5 clutch is not friendly lol

My Dart took like a good 2 weeks of driving alot to get really used to it, but it's my first manual. I think she'll get it eventually assuming she doesn't give up.

I'm not worried about the clutch giving up, more likely my motor mounts or something lol
I might try sunday when I see her.
She promised me things if I try to teach her... so ..... err... yeah
