This is a truly great album. It's very easy to see which half of the S&G duo had the lion's share of talent. I read an interview with Simon some years ago and he talked about his lyrics. He said the words weren't necessarily meant to make sense, rather to sound good together. It's almost as if he writes melodies of words.

Yeah I saw Paul Simon and Bob Dylan together many years ago. It was a great show with those two legends.
