Because it's after 5 AM and my brain is dead. But I just saw someone mention Tax The Rich, and that made me wonder what it would be like if that was a legitimate suggestion for a thing that's not happening. Like, if we lived in a society where rich people paid no taxes at all and the rest of us made up for it and starved to death and stuff. And now I am wondering why such an uninteresting thought, which has probably come to everyone in some form at SOME point in their lives, seemed worthy of a post in Oppo to me. And on that note, I think it's about time to hit the sack.
Oh, but first, I also wonder if the word "vitamin" is short for "
vita
l
min
eral." I'm sure I could figure that out in less than a minute with Google, but I don't wanna. So goodnight.

half right. Vital comes from Vita meaning life.
Amine is the word for organic compounds with nitrogen as a key atom.. from Ammonia which is a compound of nitrogen and 3 hydrogen atoms.
Ammonia traces its root word back to Sal Ammoniac/Salt of Ammon which was where ammonia salts were found near the temple of Jupiter Ammon. Ammon was an equated god with Jupiter from Egypt, post Roman conquest of Egypt. Sort of like.. instead of forcing people to change religions they said Amun was Ammon was Jupiter.. or something.
