With Forza 5 out and Gran Turismo 6 on our doorstep, where does the Jalopnik/Opponaut loyalty lie, if anywhere?

GT6. Don't need a new console and it supports most USB wheels. Neither my Fanatec GT3 RS V2, nor my G25 would work with Forza.

Also, iRacing, so...

I voted Forza 5, but just barely. If I don't get an xBone for christmas, I'm selling my collector's edition. I just can't justify a new wheel on top of everything.

Planning on F5. Mostly because I don't have a PS3 and I'm not wanting to get a last gen console, so I'll get the one with a driving game on it: XBone.

There won't be any real next-gen games out for at least a few months (looking at Watch Dogs and TitanFall). You can get some nice deals on PS3 this time of year. Good deals on used ones too. Tons of great games already out there. Plus a great BluRay player if you don't have one yet. Also, because GT6.

GT6 just because I already have a PS3 and wheel and I don't want either console as I am part of the PC gaming master race who only occasionally sullies his hands with the controllers of the console peasants.

Forza 5. I plan on buying an XBox One (it just appeals to me more) and I'm really loyal to the Forza franchise. The game design, physics engine, atmosphere, driving dynamics, etc. all just appeal to me more than GT6. Plus a lot of the Oppo car club from Fourza are moving to Fiveza, so there's that as well.

GT6!! No comparison, I have forza 3,4, and horizon. none of them compare to GT5 (WHEN IT COMES TO REALISM AND SIMULATION) GT5 feels real, even with a controller. IMO it's the better simulator of the two.

Toshiba Qosmio X775 laptop - upgraded to a 2760m Core i7 @ 2.4 ghz w/ 16GB of ram, a 1TB HDD for storage and a 120GB SSD for OS and primary game duties along with a GTX 560 I recently updated the drivers on for medium to high graphics level gaming and a 17" full HD screen with harmon/kardon surround sound speakers and subwoofer built in. The backlit keyboard and USB 3.0 support with the usual wireless N and assorted ports round out the package. All in all, about 1000$ for the entire kit that can travel with me wherever I go. My "on the road" mouse is either a logitech G9x (always kept in my laptop bag) or a logitech G700S wireless mouse. My home mice are a sidewinder X8 wireless, Logitech G900S wireless, Zalman "Gun" mouse, a razer lachesis, and some assorted lower class mice I try out on occasion. I gave away my old sidewinder X5 and that has been a huge regret for me as that is still one of the best mice ever made.

Technically Forza, although the number of cars I really like in either is pretty pitiful. There were 33 cars I really wanted in the original release of Forza 4, and that's decreased to 11 in 5.

GT6 is even worse, and the fact that there are billians of Skylines at the expense of variety (and quality of all cars) irks me somewhat.

Controller is what I meant. Made Forza so much better. I've been thinking about buying a G27 wheel though. Could use it for the PC and if I buy a PS4 too. Then it's like I'm ONLY spending $150 on each :'( .
