So I just spent about 15 minutes reading the whole tale of how this book was developed and came to be and what it means.

I'm currently sitting at my desk, tears in my eyes, listening to Rush's "Red Barchetta" and really REALLY wanting to take my Porsche out for a drive here at 10:00 PM.

I don't have a kid, but I really want this book. Badly.

If you liked this book, you must read "The Red Car" by Don Stanford. It's about a boy who finds an old MG and rebuilds and races it with the help of a friendly local mechanic. Here are a few different editions if you can find one.
