I did this over the weekend. It was a sad day. :(

My insurance recommended I go to Suburban Auto Works in Doylestown, PA. Does anyone have any experience with them?

Any body shop should be fine, its really just puzzle pieces. Headlight assembly, bumper, fender, liners, various clips and parts. They'll remove the bad stuff, bolt and clip on the new parts, then just paint. All assuming you didn't knock the wheel and messed up some suspension components. Hopefully you'll get your beh beh back soon. Let us know what your rental car ends up being :]

That's what I figured. Upon further inspection, there appears to be no mechanical damage. Phew!

No rental for me - I have a second car (my '05 Matrix XRS), which I am happy to share my experience with! :) Love that car.

That comes down to the insurance company. Well, it was for me when i did similar damage to my M3. They were trying to use cheap aftermarket parts, had to ride their ass for OE sheeeet

If you are someone who is particular about your car, let the body shop know this. You will likely find overspray on random bits that weren't taped properly, the paint may or may not match, and there will probably be random fasteners missing. Good luck sir.

My family uses Buckingham Collision. They are located on Lower Mountain Road in Furlong, PA. They do a great job and are fairly quick with their repairs.

Ask other car dudes. Insurance tends to send you to places that they find are easy to work with. You want ones that are the other way around—easy for you to work with, but will be a thorn in your insurance company's side should the insurance company decide patching up the car as cheaply as possible is the way they want to do it. Fight for the OEM parts—it's worth it.

I don't know any PA places to send you to or this shop in particular—just speaking in general.

Either way, let the shop know exactly how you want it repaired up front and don't be afraid to take it back if something's off.

I called the insurance company to ask about OEM parts.

She insisted that all OEM parts will be used and she'll send an email to the repair shop to tell them OEM is required for the repairs.

That's a good sign so far!
