You NEED to go sit them down and have them tell their stories!!! Take a good quality audio recorder and make sure you have them tell you about their lives growing up. Ask questions, have them go into detail, name names, places, the cars they drove, the women they loved, the battles they fought. All of it. Their generation has seen more of the advancement of civilization than any other I can think of. 2 World Wars, the advance of flight, space travel, landing on the moon, computers, television, portable phones. Nuclear power, nuclear war, the Cold War, the end of the USSR. Not to mention all the social issues. So much history in their lifetimes, I can't imagine it ever happening again. Make it happen now, they will be gone too soon, and you will regret it if you don't do it.

I've done projects on all three of them, and I see them somewhat frequently. Trust me, I know....
