... But it's my turn to cry.
(I'll try to keep this post short and not like the millions of others)
I just found out about Mr. Walker's death. You may be questioning whether or not I live under a rock, but I've been in bed sick with a stomach virus since yesterday evening. And now I'm sick to my stomach and depressed. Don't even get me started with my college apps!
When the first FnF movie came out, I was just 5 years old. I watched it and I've been in love with cars ever since. I literally grew up watching these movies. Although now I know the movies are hella fake, I didn't know any better when I was a little kid. And I must admit now I will watch them no matter what. People I never even knew that had an interest in cars, no matter how small it may have been, watched the movies. The FnF series and Mr. Walker helped the car world gain shit tons of fans.
That alone is worth all the NOS shots, 24-speed gearboxes, horrendous body kits, picnic table spoilers, and tacky body vinyls in the world. So here's to you, Paul Walker, the man that got me into cars in the first place. I hope you're hooning away in heaven.
Rest in peace, good sir .

This death hits me harder than most. Actually, harder than all celebrity deaths.
See, Mr. Walker and Mr. Diesel created a movie so insane and a franchise so ludicrous (also starring Ludacris) that I was hooked. As a kid, these movies drew me into cars.
They were silly, total BS, cringe worthy at every corner. But they got me into the hobby that I love the most and for that I will always be grateful to Walker for embracing the role and going absolutely nuts.
The man helped influence an entire generation, no small feat no matter what you talk about. The movies might be critical shit but to the 12 year old in me they will be the greatest thing ever made.

You and I both. My head keeps saying, Paul is dead. But it can't be. Paul is dead. But it can't be. All in a never ending loop. It just ain't real to me dammit. Maybe I'm still having a nightmare.
