I love the Jackie Stewart quote, and it makes a lot of sense that he says that especially since he also says a car is very much like a woman in general:
"[A car is] very sensitive, it's very nervous, it's very highly strung. Sometimes [a car] responds very nicely [and] sometimes it responds very viciously. Sometimes to get the very best out of [a car], you have to coax it - almost caress it - to do the things you want it to do; and even after you've done all these things and the car is doing exactly as you want it to do, it will immediately and with no warning change its mind and do something very suddenly, very abruptly."
