One Owner, 80,000 original miles.
There's that point a few years down the road, the odometer is getting closer to the 100 thousand mark, when you start considering long-term preventive maintenance, such as gaskets, pulleys, and shortening the chassis by a door.

What a wast of what was probably a decent Corvair. Gotta love the hillbilly spare tire. No tread.

That is a shortened Corvair. I have a buddy that did that to one in the 70's and his dad had it crushed. My friend said that as crude as it was, crushing it probably saved his life.
