Does anyone have experience swapping ECUs? This looks like a good deal from eeuroparts

http://www.eeuroparts.com/Parts/52929/T7…

Would it be worth it?

It's for my 2000 Saab 9-5 Wagon. (stick)

The process itself should be very straightforward. I've done it in my e30 and was a simple job.

Just be sure to disconnect the battery before starting

Be sure that you do not need to pair/align/synchronize it with the other modules/ECU (ABS, central locking/anti-theft, ...) before ordering.

For instance, I already have that kind of 'security' on my 2000 Z3.

Very easy on the 9-5. I've swapped the ECU in my Aero a couple of times.

Screaming deal. You won't find that many horses for that amount of money anywhere.
