Well we made it. Finished the rally in Brisbane on Sunday night after spending Sunday cutting laps around the track and skid pan at the Holden advanced driver training center, parties till (very) late, then woke up (very) early and drove 11 hours back to Sydney by Monday night.
As you can see from the photo below, the 86 made it with panel damage to the front, the 430 driver was a bit unhappy with me for taking photographs of his bent car (too bad ya tit, next time don't park it at the front door of the hotel).
Somehow only one car got a speeding fine, an Audi S5, for 45+ over the limit. An $800+ fine should kerb his enthusiasm next time.
(and yes that is a giant inflatable penis. i should know. i was chased by it through the hotel).
