After you finish a multiplayer race online the computer takes control of the car in a form of auto pilot and races it around the track at full speed as the other cars finish. However if you press the menu button it forgets to keep driving the car... and crashes it into what ever was directly in front of the car before you pressed the button. Nice :)

I used to love getting my cars in sticky situations near the end of races, to see what the computer would do to not crash in FM4.
The best was racing the Top Gear track backwards, and going full speed into Gambon the "wrong" way. As soon as you cross the line, the camera switches to the one before Gambon, and all you'd see was a car go rocketing across the screen, off camera. Then, after a few moments, it would reappear damaged all to heck, limping back on track. Many luls were had.

Hilarious AND the sure way to set the best lap time. I love it when you can hear the impact after the car goes off screen
