Pulled off the timing gear, camshaft, sump, oil pump and crank bearings. Everything looks in good nick. To be honest, I probably didn't need to take it all apart judging by the wear levels.
Still, if I'm pulling it apart I might as well put new shiny bits in. Also, I've found someone that can do me a ported head for £650. Not exactly cheap, but they look like they know what they're doing.
