That is incredible

Nice nice. A tune is up on my list. It should really add some nice power that the car needs.

The one I'm getting is supposed to give 25 to 30 hp and ft pounds of torque.

You and your damn turbo. Some dudes at SEMA got about 230ish hp out of your engine, which is amazing for a 1.4! I on the other hand get about 30hp after tune and full exhaust.

Hehehe turbos rule.
230 would be difficult. Tune + exhaust seems to yield up to 40 of each. Apparently a catless downpipe alone yields 8 hp on this engine. People get it close to 200 with an E85 tune with bigger fuel injectors...it's pretty ridiculous how much power you can get out of a 1.4 these days!

They did do a lot of work to the engine to get up to that amount of power, still pretty amazing. A similar pipe on my car gives like 5hp or something, it is pretty weak, a new header is the way to go, you get a good helping of power from there plus orgasmic sounds. I don't know if the car comes with one, but can you get BOV for the car that vent to atmosphere?

Yes, you can get an atmospheric BOV, and it needs a change to the tune. I don't plan on it for a while, but maybe in the future. With the intake I have the BPV is very noticeable

Any power gains from one that vents to the atmosphere? If not then there is no reason to get one other than the noises that it makes.

Not enough to warrant the $250ish price and difficult install. Certainly not a priority for me

Makes sense, although I bought a part like that just cause I couldn't live with it being there. It is hard to install and it is fairly expensive(for the size) but it would have annoyed me if I didn't change it.
