So Malaisey. Yet so fantastic! How can you say no to a shaker hood?

Sometimes I get weird hankerings for malaise-era vehicles; this one such time.

While we're on the subject (I'm making sure to show only the most flattering angles):

How about the Century GS455 Stage 1?

Silly late 70's styling is growing on me. Look at the size of those bumpers!

Add a decent carb/intake, heads, cam and exhaust to the 400 (if it's an Olds 403, no thanks) and it'll make some power. The TH400 is bullet proof and hopefully it has the Safe-T-Trak option in the 10 bolt for burnout silliness.

I would enjoy the hell out of that thing!

I had a '76 in copper. The doors are a nightmare on this thing. The are so long it is hard to get in and out of the car in normal parking spots. Also they are so heavy they warp at the hinge and droop. That makes it so you have to lift the door to get it to fully close or it will not latch. I also had a '76 Olds Cutlass. The doors on it did the same thing.

I had a '76 Century wagon. The doors were much shorter, but they were still unbelievably heavy.

Good grief, I miss that car.
