Here is the reason. I've called technical support a couple of times and... BUY OUR INTERNET SERVICE, THEY SAID. WE'LL COME AND FIX IT, THEY SAID.

By any chance is Comcast your service provider? I've had this issue mostly at night with my internet service.

No, OneLink is a Puerto Rican telecommunications company recently bought by Liberty Global Communications. Over the course of a week I've seen my 40mb /s go down to this. As a result I can barely upload or post blogs.

Dayum son. My at&t was once at 0.6 download. For $15 more, I switched to Comcast and kicking ass a 52mb and doesn't cut 20p times a day. Glad to have you back buddy

I'll probably won't come back until this crap is fixed. Between the Kinja Authorization Turd and this, is almost impossible to access jalopnik or oppo.

I had that here in Austin quite a few times since I've been back. Lousy speed to begin with (paying for 30 Mbps down, lucky to get 20, often got below 1), first many service requests blame my modem, etc etc. Finally got them to acknowledge that the problem was on their end.
Hoping that google fiber comes soon.
