I have an article coming up on Oppo late today/tonight about parenthood in a 2+2 and how It Can Be Done; You Don't Need A Minivan/SUV.

All of that said, you should follow Plays With Cars because what he has now is what our next car is likely to be; a CTS-V Sportwagon - the best of all worlds without all wheel drive.

Oh I've definitely been catching the Plays With Cars posts. I have 3 potential vehicles on the list when I run the Milan to death.

ATS or CTS (depending on space) and the new Colorado/Canyon (i'm banking the Canyon will look even better).

The ATS 2.0T PP is high on my list still. I've spent some time with the car, and posted my thoughts to the autoblog some friends and I have been playing with... though it's taken a big back seat since my daughters birth (and in truth, in the lead up to it).

Here... this was my first "behind the wheel" review.

Other then the ATS, I'm considering popping down south of the border when the new Chevy SS lands (because they're not selling any in Canada) but I'm also a huge fan of the new WRX (having been a former STi owner) and really, while I have zero interest in any SUV/CUV/Crossover or Minivan I am pretty motivated to check out anything that may arrive on our shores in the next few model years with four doors and a hatch (read; waggin!).

I'll admit a level of bias towards domestics and really, really hope that we see something on the Alpha platform out of GM with a waggin-ass, RWD and manual option.

I'll give that a read, but i'd first like to say that it's funny hearing you refer to them as "domestics" being your in Canada.

Honestly I doubt an ATS wagon comes along, unfortunately for you wagon lovers. They haven't sold that many CTS Wagons so I doubt its worth it to them.

Now if I could get them to turn the new Colorado into a new Blazer I'd be interested in an SUV again (backstory - I've owned 2 s-10 blazers before the Milan as my DD).

Just a little note: You can share posts without making your own introduction or a "Promote, Yo". When you click to share a post, just don't touch any of the text boxes and click share. Just looks nicer, almost as it was posted on Oppo in the first place.

If you want to edit your share to do the same thing, I'll be happy to remove my share of that same post.
