I'm trying to get the light reflection that's just below the griffin out of the picture. But I sure as hell can't make it blend in naturally.

Anybody handy with the Photoshops?

Try picking the color of the branches right next to the reflection and just cover it up.

Depending on your version of photoshop, just use the smart heal brush and adjust the size of the tool to just larger than the are you need to fix. One click. Done. Taking off the other smaller reflection above the "B" was a matter of using the clone tool. The smart heal tool looks like a band aid.

Humm.

There may or may not have been a few scratches and a random guerilla leaf, too. ;)

I like to use this site as a replacement for Photoshop if I don't have access to the real thing. It uses the same shortcuts as Photoshop and the layers work and function similarly to Photoshop as well. I could never quite get the hang of GIMP.
