It's not bad, but not great either. I find myself marveling at things like being able to swap an LS1 into just about every single car in the game, but the lack of content leaves me slightly underwhelmed.

Don't get me wrong, most of the cars are great, I already have plans for Hunt's McLaren, the Penske Dallara, and others, PLUS I've already made my own IRL Daily Driver to hoon around Laguna Seca, but there are cars I miss.

I find myself loving Bathurst more than I thought I would, it seems the more difficult tracks appeal to me more, and I'm beginning to feel Kimi's love for Eau Rouge at Spa. I found myself saying "Let's see what [car] can do around The 'Ring!", before remembering our beloved Nurburgring has been put to pasture, on several occasions.

Do I regret buying the game? No. But Turn 10 is now on thinning ice with me, and I will be reading up heavily on Forza 6 before purchasing.

Now that the bad stuff is out of the way, things I DO like.

The Driveatars have impressed me. I was skeptical, but after doing my signature feint that worked 10 out of 10 times on the AI in 2-4, and having the Driveatar not fall for it was a bit of a shock. They exhibit differences in line for corners and sometimes even braking zones too. Some are...aggressive, to put it kindly, but when you think about it that's no different from online or even the real world.

The new paint options leave me giddy with excitement, WE CAN FINALLY PAINT STOCK WHEELS. And the carbon fiber as a paint instead of some 10 million layer vinyl from the storefront is a nice touch as well.

In the upgrade shop/tuning menu, they have the benchmark sheet in the menu, rather than it's own screen. So now you get immediate feedback on what each change does to your car. I like it, ANOTHER!

So I haven't gotten to online play yet, but if any of you wish to take the leap with me, or show me around the probably revamped online, my gamertag is MAK42. I'll be on pretty frequently since Fiveza is the only Xbone game I've got so far. (I'm also open to playing in Fourza and GT5.)

But that is my inpression of Fiveza after a weekend of playing, not bad, not great.

WE CAN FINALLY PAINT STOCK WHEELS

SOLD.

Now call me when we can swap wheels between manufacturers. I loved putting silver Evo MR steelies on everything in GT3.

Also, when did we get a FaceBook like button on posts??

I would like that stock wheel-swap option too. But the inter-manufacturer engine swaps is a step in that direction (Hemi in any muscle car anyone?). And no word on that "like" button...

I do like that they brought that back(?).

Not like this, now you can drop, for example, a Porsche flat-six in a Beetle! An LS in any car! Most muscle cars have the option of dropping a 426 Hemi! It's cool, but you don't know exactly what you're getting since you have to play Guess the Donor Car, they don't list the car it comes out of, it just gives you displacement, hp, torque, and weight.

After playing Forza 1 (Oneza?) through Fourza extensively (read religiously), I just look at Fiveza and I get a sense of "Meh" in terms of content. I don't doubt the gameplay is most likely superior as you've described which is a definite plus and improvement like bringing back the Drivatar feature from Oneza.

I just really bothers me that the disks are now Blu-ray (?) and they have such a huge lack of content in terms of cars and tracks. Sure the graphics and textures have been updated but does that really fill up the disk with ~200 cars and 14 tracks? Do correct me if the numbers are wrong as well. Fourza was on two disks (I assume they were Dual-layered DVDs) and the content was/is pretty extensive imo. I just get the sense that Fiveza was somehow rushed even though it's been in development since Fourza (just like all the other Forza development cycles). Even though it could possibly be extremely polished, but I wouldn't know as I don't have Fiveza or Xbox One.

For myself, Fiveza was the only reason to get an Xbox One as most of its features don't interest me (although I do see the allure to them).

Just my two cents.

I also thought I'd ask, what are your thoughts on the Xbox One's features in general? Do you use them and are they easy to use? How is Kinect 2.0 as well?

You're right, there could be more content. As for the features, I love being able to look up tuning setups with the in-console browser, meaning I don't have to get off the couch to go get my laptop, I can just hop between the game and internet. And Kinect 2.0 works pretty well with voice commands, I have yet to use it for anything else.
