Nope. No interest with that country song tag line.
Toss the lyrics and I'm there.

The song really clashes with the whole idea of drifting a Volvo wagon.

I'd be in if they'd left it a w123.

I am! I live in the south so nearly everyone will get the joke!

I bought one. I grew up in stereotypical podunk town, USA, and when I go to the local "city" for a bar crawl, Wagon Wheel has been a favorite for a long time. Everyone knows it, so at least that part will be understood. I also enjoy the artwork, so it's all good in my book.

Is that what that's from? I just thought I wasn't hip to the lingo.
It still makes absolutely no sense to me. Sounds like complete gibberish. "Lock me mama?" WTF?

I mean, it's a Dylan song...

only kind of. i don't think he ever technically finished it, did he?

If I could get it without the words on it, then probably. Especially a hoodie. With the words, unfortunately, no. Nice design though. Both this one and the original.

Wagon Wheel is the song
Old Crow Medicine Show did the first full version (the dylan version wasn't ever a full song, but the chorus is his)
Darius Rucker recently covered it, which is where a lot of people know it from.
I personally don't like either of them (and i listen to country)
My favorite version is from the Adam Ezra Group. Its the first version i actually heard, and it has a faster pace than the others

(they don't have a music video for it, but you can hear it on their site)

1) Well, not really. Dylan left it for dead.
2) Still doesn't make it something I care for. Actually, I had never heard it or heard of it until this shirt. You know, Wiggle Wiggle is a Dylan song, too.
I know Jalopnik is not always going for mainstream , but I thought this was too wide of the mark.

I'd be interested if it was a muscle car or BMW E24. And I think it looks better without the verbiage.

It's a wagon. Power-sliding. On a t-shirt. And people are bitching because of the slogan's similarity to an Old Crow Medicine Show song that was covered by Darius Rucker. Wow, some people need to lighten the fuck up.
Yes, I bought one.

The quote is a bit "nothing references to drifting" but it somewhat relates it to drifting in its own way

As long as they're around long enough for me to be able to afford it. I'll have one!

Those too.
Plus a lot of hatchbacks don't look too good either. Some do, most don't.

I've never liked a hatch under any circumstance.

I only like the hatchbacks that are made to look like coupes. The ones that look like wagons sadden me.
Example:
Acceptable looking hatch:
