It was going well, then I asked her what her favorite car is, she said Viper GTS, from that point on it went even better :D
She drives an '07 Jetta, her passenger side mirror got broken off, she doesn't know how, the stealership wants a fuckton of money to replace it, what do you guys think her most effective course of action is here? I think the mirror is heated and the outside is body-color, so there is no one size fits all replacement.

take her on an awesome trip to the junkyards. Woo her with your auto knowledge. If not, take her to you're place, look for it online, and commence with the impregnating practice sessions :]

Jettas generally only come in a few colors. Most people I know have had good luck just going to pick-a-part and getting a new body part (mirrors or fenders). Even cheaper if you can just find someone on CL that has one the right color.
The biggest headache is just getting the power hooked back up.

Second.
Take her to a junk yard, chicks love junkyards.

if it isn't too crowded, all the dudes checking here out and making comments gets creepy. If you get her involved, she'll have fun :]

Lol, we've already "practiced", but I am sure we could use some more.
But yeah, I may call up so junk yards on her behalf. It should impress her.

oh, is getting it rewired a pain in the ass?
I have a feeling all of this will be a pain in the ass, unless I manage to do this in a warm garage.

I'll include it when I present her all my findings in a powerpoint. Gotta give her all the options available.

Perhaps! I haven't been to one in forever.

It just depends on how the wiring is run. Some of them have nice close connectors... others make you disassemble the whole door to connect them.

hmm ok. In her case all that's left of the mirrors is a few wires sticking out the door, haha.
