So, went out to get beer today. My favorite local place ( !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ) is awesome, huge selection, usually pretty good prices. Got my beer (the "build your own 6-pack" discount is 15%, great for buying the big bottles). While I was there, found this stuff. This tequila retails (normally) at something like $35-$40/bottle (750ml). Guess what they cost me?
$10 a piece. $30 for what should be ~$100 of tequila. The table they were on was labelled "discontinued". I assume this mean that they either were changing bottle style, or that Julio's was no longer carrying them.
On the whole I'm pretty happy with myself :)

Your local place is a web site?

Damn, that would be nice to have. I don't think that would work around where I am. One liquor store had the Jaeger Halloween bottles with bottle koozie from last year on sale this year with no discount. . .

You funny guy, huh? :P
They have a website, answers any questions like "what do they carry" or "where are they", so i don't have to

Reposado is usually what I go for, regardless of brand. Ever had Espolon?

No, but i have one their shirts, oddly enough. Always been a vodka drinker, straight or mixed (i infuse my own flavors, which is bundles of fun). Branching out more lately though. Bought some 1800 silver a while back, drinking that right now and quite enjoying it (it was already in the freezer, these weren't). turns out that tequila + sprite zero + a bit of grenadine is a great combo

Nice I love a good anejo! We would also make Palomas (tequila and squirt) with a silver.

That... sounds amazing. Sprite (zero) mixes rather well with most anything, especially fruity stuff (my girlfriend bought it, I swear).
I love the 1800 shot pourer tops. I also love the people who don;t know how to use them.

It is truly amazing. my drink is like 1/4 tequila and i can't tell (could probably be much further along, but i have class tomorrow)
No shame on the sprite zero, i'm more than a little addicted to it (seriously, zer0-calorie sugar water is awesome, even if you will eventually get cancer from it XD)
right now, the 1800 top is actually pissing me off. It's being an absolute pita coming out of the bottle cause its been in the freezer. I nearly spilled some on my tequila last time i opened it O.O

what do they carry and where are they. Sorry I couldn't resist. One of my favorite Tequilas is Hornitos Plata. It's smooth and makes great Margaritas, also great straight.

Westborough, Massachusetts. ~10 minute drive form my apartment in worcester
their building is huge
basically everything left of the L is wine (and hot sauce), between the L and that window you can see is hard alcohol (including some $500 bottles of scotch), everything from the window right is beer (actually a little more, the back wall is all 30-racks and 12-packs)
