Should be pretty obvious :p
Also, I'm definitely getting the hang of this game. 40 laps around Curitiba, no driving aids, and I was actually lapping both of those BMWs by the end of the race.

Which one of these isn't like the others?
Kinja didn't like your camaro enough to keep it in image. At least that's what I think it is, if it isn't a Pontiac.

Yup, it's a 70 Camaro, definitely one of the most fun cars in the game too, the way it slides around corners in all four wheels, just about enough to put you right where you want, is orgasmic.

Sliding with little correction is definitely a nice quality. Have to be careful on your tires, but that can always be corrected.

Which game is this?

Race 07, I got it on Borsuq's recommendation a few days ago and it's awesome. It's dirt cheap on Steam right now, 6,99 reais, even though it has 9 awesome expansion packs which come at an extra.
Lacking almost any kind of experience in real simulators, this game's been kicking my ass since I got it, haha...
A little off topic, but it's been a while since I saw you around here... Hope everything's going ok over there!

Eh, things are maintaining their momentum. New job isn't super easy, but has plenty of advancement potential.
BTW, shameless job plug: If you know anybody needing a good deal on U-Verse, lemme know. I can hook them up, haha.

I'm not sure if it's in the base game or in an expansion, but the Radical SR4 is a huge amount of fun. You should definitely try it.

I'll suggest you take a look at my previous post. Race 07 is good but some newer games are considerably better. Whatever you choose to do enjoy!

I'm glad to hear that, I remember you mentioned you were either quitting or thinking about quitting your then current job a while back. Best of luck in the new one!
Though, to be honest, I'm not sure what U-Verse is... I live in Brazil after all :p

LMAO. Ok. It's AT&T's shot at doing the whole Cable TV/Internet/Phone things.

Ah, got it. We have similar services in Brazil as well, just not from AT&T and probably without a few of the options. I'm not sure I know anybody though, even though I do have a friend from college studying abroad. I think he's somewhere in Missouri, IIRC... I'll ask him, asking doesn't hurt, haha...

I'll have a look at them, but my biggest problem with newer games is that my PC won't run them, or I won't be able to afford them :p
For 6,99 a pop, it's hard to beat the cost benefit of this one.

Not sure either, but I got all the expansions, so it's definitely there, I just have yet to try it out. There's a lot of different styles to choose from, from touring cars, to classics, to open wheelers and prototypes... I've been kind of infatuated with open wheelers at the moment, trying to get the hang of their brutal acceleration, speed and stiffness, but I'll definitely give the radical a try. Like, right now.

I hear you. Most people don't have pc's setup to play games especially when they can put that money into a console. I just don't have a need for a console any time soon and have the ability to put a bit into my pc. Plus having a decent PC helps me run programs that I HAVE to run for work. I could just run them on my work laptop but my computer makes the program so much better to work with. SO i get multiple uses out of a spec'd pc. Anyways I'm rambling. Even if you stick to Race 07 for now it's a great foundation point. Hell even if that's as far as you go it's quite a bit more challenging than most console sims. Enjoy

Yep, that's pretty much my case. Since I can't really afford a console, or at least justify the purchase of something focused entirely on entertainment, and high level PCs, which can also be used to work and study, I have to make do with a base Dell, which will run most recent-ish games on a satisfactory level and still be useful as a work/study station. If I ever get something better than this one, I'll make sure to give Asseto Corsa a try. I saw it on Steam when it was first featured, but ended up chalking it up to games that I wish I could afford.
