That Skyline sort of pisses me off. If you're going to do a V8 swap, and you can't put in the far more powerful VK45DE, at least make it have more than just 260HP.

I don't know what this means but I like it.

From my understanding 1UZs are REALLY cheap to get and the swap did more than double the HP. I'm not going to hate because he has a budget GTR clone for probably not that much money.

It's not hard to double the HP of a 120HP engine. He could have swapped an SR engine for the same power just as easily.
Its just that I would be surprised if Rocky Auto, which is known for their fantastic RB conversions (for 300-400 N/A HP from a straight six) simply chose the 1UZ just for cheapness sake, there are so many other options that have the same benefits but with more power or less weight.
By comparison, a VK45DE couldn't be more expensive to find, is probably just as expensive to fit into the car, and weighs about 20% more, but with 30% more HP stock, and much higher potential.

But really though, on the FP "most underrated engines" thing I said the 1UZ and some guy commented to me that he got one with 75,000 miles for $200 and it was in a pile with 6 or 7 more …. so real cheap.
