I would count drive as at least a few miles, so that rules out the SL55, GT500, and Viper GTS for me, but on the road I'd say it's the Charger R/T, or a Ram 3500 Laramie Cummins I suppose, even though that's not my thing.

Well, a long time ago, in a city about 15 miles from here... I used to work for this little Porsche shop called Autothority. whilst I was there, I had the opportunity to see many wonderful cars, and although I never got to "drive" them I did get the chance to move a great number of amazing cars. One of my all time favorites was a 904/6. It was a 904 prototype for the 6 cylinder. They also had a 917 come in, a DP slantnose 930, some 356's... All manner of neato Porsches. But that 904 was beautiful. The more I think about it... I think it had even been butchered with something like a JC Whitney sunroof, if I recall correctly... Not quite sure.

Here are the three best (and, admittedly, only three) cars I have ever driven in order of best to worst.

-2001 1.8T Beetle 5MT (Badly maintained, but it's turbocharged with a 5 speed stick)

-2008 Miata GT 6AT w/ paddle shifters (would be far and away #1 if it had a third pedal)

-2002 Sebring V6 convertible (POS)

Still on the hunt for a car, so there will probably be a cool, $2500 car with character that blows the aforementioned cars out of the water.

After 10 years of ownership I still love my 2003 Evo VIII. Great handling, good power, huge brakes and it is easy and fun to drive fun. Cost of ownership isn't stupid and it makes lovely turbo sounds. Our Lemons racecar is the second best car I've gotten to drive because racecar.

I've driven an Exige S and that was pretty stellar. Crisp and FAST.

I drove a C6 Grand Sport which was definitely the fastest car I have driven, but to be honest the "best" cars I have driven (at least in terms of overall enjoyment) were likely the Fiesta ST, a 2009 Cooper S and my E36. All three fall into that range of performance in which there is enough power and or handling capability to have fun while still being able to come close to the car's limits on the road without too much risk.

A few years ago at work they had some green car thingy. The deal was as a promo, you could come drive a green car. They had mostly smarts, and leafs and other crap. Mercedes however also showed up. You got to drive whatever car was at the front of the line. I drove a S300 (or something) blue tec diesel that retails for around $122K. It was awesome.

It was a Peugeot 404 from the early sixties. It had been used as a daily driver since it was new. In the city. I don't think I can count as many kilometers as it must surely have driven.

The old man who had owned and maintained it since it was new was an electrician. You could tell by the fact that the fuse box had been replaced by a wooden plank with a row of D-type ceramic fuses and every electrical component had been replaced with seemingly random switches of various sizes and shapes. He had lovingly written down the proper start-up sequence and numbered the various buttons and knobs and levers.

That car was a fucking soldier. No panel without a battle scar. It had dented it's front wing pretty bad, but I hammered it into shape as well as my bosses would let me and gave it a brand new eye so it could keep on fighting a little while longer. Some times I wonder if it still lives.

How would one define 'best'? I haven't driven that many really fun cars. When it comes to cars I personally liked as opposed to cars that were worth a lot of money: (in random order)

Peugeot 406 coupe

Peugeot 308 (the new one)

1980s Honda Prelude.

Recently I got to drive a new VW Touareg. Clearly the most expensive car I've driven, but it was quite boring to drive so it didn't make the list.

Hands down Dad's FR-S. Just got back from a "spirited drive" in it.

One of my fraternity brothers has an ATS 2.0T. Not too quick, but killer steering, brakes and interior. Sadly, his example is a slush box.

One of my friends in HS had a 350Z and I convinced him to let me drive it to teach him how to drive stick better... May have left some black marks behind in that car.

I manage to get behind the wheel of about every nice car owned by someone I'm decently close to. Advice: go to college, meet rich kids, DD a lot. The cars just fall in your lap!

Best is hard to define.

I'd have to say the 1934/5 Packard V12 Phaeton Convertible I drove while working at America's Packard Museum in Dayton, Ohio qualifies as my personal best.

The engine block, just the block nothing attached to it, weighs 2000 pounds. Needless to say one does not hurry that girl around corners. It's also so smooth that you have to double check that it's running to make sure you don't double start it.

The Lexus GS 350 isn't all that bad.

I do have to admit I'm partial to my 2002 SVT Focus though. For a DD, it really doesn't get much better.

Sonic Blue is definitely the best color for the Focus, it just looks right for some reason. You've posted pics of your SVT before and it looks fantastic, I've always found my Infra-Red is too busy a color for a car that has a busy exterior design like the Focus.

Lets see best to worst of cars I've driven:
-Lexus GS350 2007 - I drive this car almost everyday and i still feel like i have a lot to learn about her still. for comfort it is absolutely the best thing I've driven so far. for performance i think it gets to about 0-60 in 5-6 seconds? Its a really big car which I dislike about it but all in all its a good car to play with, but i havent broke traction in it besides once and almost crashed because I'm a dumbass so i'll never touch VSC again.

-Nissan Juke 2011 AT, with CAI and exhaust upgrade. This car is pretty good I know alot of people say its ugly but honestly it has grown on me. The back seats can fit average people say 5'5"-5'8"? They wont feel comfortable tho. Performance its not quick but boy this shit corners pretty well and takes bumps well. It has Vector AWD which is pretty useful. I still dont know which car i would really choose, either this or the GS.

-Acura RDX 2013? This car sounds mean when i rev it inside the cabin. Though i thinks it has a tubbing to the cabin from the engine. I think it gets really fun the paddle shifters are fun to play with but the manual mode is better than the GS's but first gear doesn't hold i believe can remember. its comfortable i can say that but i feel like the lexus is better. (might be being bias not sure havent driven it in a while)

-Nissan Quest 2005 - This was my learning car and I have done a shit load of stupid things in it. I first discovered torque steer in this car and boy was i shocked that a minivans V6 can do that haha! Its the average minivan but this car has a spot in my heart for all the stupid things i've done.

-Honda CR-V - i've only driven it a few times but i think its good practical car, but definitely isn't for me.

-Mercedes Benz Sprinter diesel - well its a Van that delievers things and i've driven it too a couple of times. the turbo spooling takes a while and i feel like i need to rev the crap out of it. I feel like it'll tip over any minute or something everytime i go at a turn on the highway about 50-60.

I suppose that wraps up my review!

1) Ferrari F430 - as present to myself, I rented this in Las Vegas for a day and drove to the Hoover Dam and to Red Rock Canyons. One of the most exciting experiences of my life. I will likely do it again!

2) 1960's era Commaro (don't know exact year) - friend dad owned it and let me drive it for about an hour once through the mountain villages of northern Vermont. It had exellent air-ride suspension, great brakes, a great tune to the engine/exhaust

3) 2011 Subaru WRX STI - I grew up in the northeast, and so I love Subarus. The sound of the STI is addictive, you can't help but give it a hearty stomp on the go pedal now and then and listen to the flat four chug faster and faster as it builds boost.
