Still got a few weeks to go, don't judge too hard.
Side note: when the hell is it going to actually snow in Detroit so I can go drift?!

Only problem I see is there's no room for my fat annoying wife.
On second thought, It's perfect. (I'm divorced anyway but she is fat and annoying.)

I still can't think of when we disagreed, but I'm a fan of the viper so if you don't like it I stand by whatever I said.

As stated, upon further reflection, I did note that it was perfect. I hope you didn't take offense, as none was intended.

None taken, but 'perfect' is quite the claim. I'm not even willing to got that far.

OK good, my lazy attempts at humor aren't always well received. I think it's pretty cool.

0-60? 'ring time? :D
Seriously, though, any more info on this? Just daydreaming or are you building it? Looks great. :)

Its for my studio with Mahindra right now and its a "urban mobility" project. So IMO it will have all the benefits of a bike: small footprint, efficiency, parking, lane splitting in california etc. to be great for a commute. But also drive like a car and be safer so its more accessible than a bike for most people.
When I get all the renderings done in a couple weeks I was going to upload them to Oppo to see what you all think. (this is just a rough rendering)

Christ, I've been typing up a reply for 20 minutes now, then my shitty trackpad managed to click on Kinja annotate, and lost the whole thing. Kinja'd to the max.
Anyway, to sum up, because I have to leave soon: I'm curious as to what your propulsion method is? Diesel? Gasoline? Electric, if so, in-wheel or not? Looks like rear-mounted internal combustion, if I judge from the vent? Motorcycle engined? It is a 3-wheeler, right?
Also, I'm jealous of you, awesome assignment you've landed. :) I'm stuck with architecture, but I've been looking into building a vehicle of my own, seemingly fairly similarly sized to yours. Thing is, legislation is quite draconic in my country, and building a full sized roadgoing vehicle (Caterham for example), is nigh impossible. Light stuff up to 350kg is sorta viable, though, with lots of blood, sweat and... bribes? So I've been playing around with ergonomics and then making a shape that could be relatively easily built by an enthusiast, perhaps even a few man operation? :) Get a few friends together, we help eachother build cars, maybe? :D It's not nearly as fleshed out as yours, but I've been wading through legislation on and off for years now :D Anyway, here's the simple render of mine:
Electric 4 wheel one seater, would love some in-wheel motor shenanigans, but realistically, could go with one motor up to ~50kW (~68HP). Motorcycle wheels and tires, I suppose. And some silly aero solutions (wheels), because... I don't think it looks bad. It's a blank canvas, you can put anything on it. Other aero solutions include some ducting in the front and... flat floor, I guess? Could go with some form of a diffusor at the back.
So, yeah, this is the short version of the post. Funny, huh. :D Last question, your opinion on wheels without mudguards in sub-optimal weather conditions (rain, snow... heck, gravel?).
Thank you, and goodnight. :)

First and foremost I should its just a design exercise so it doesn't need to be flushed out engineering wise as long as you make a good enough story for what you've done. As in when I present I'm going to say its powered by a electric motor in the rear connected to the swing arm. And in all honesty I just put the vents on there because I think it looks better and I can say they are for cooling the batteries. Soooo your car would probably make more sense to actually make lol.
But I know at least in the states anything with 4 wheels has to pass a ton more regulations which is one reason I went with a 3-wheeler, so thats something you might want to consider. And as for wheel coverings, my teacher who used to design bikes said I should put some on but aesthetically I don't like them, and part of our project is picking a city and I went for L.A. Which is beautiful most the year so I don't think I'll need them.
Whew that got long winded. But anyways being an architect sounds sweet, anytime you can get paid to create something sounds like a win to me. Also here are some renderings from when it was going to be a 4 wheeled car, if you're interested.
