As soon as I saw this picture of the Mercedes AMG Vision Gran Turismo I knew it had to hang on my wall... so I ordered a canvas print of it and 4 days later Mr. UPS Guy delivered this! It's 16" x 20" and looks fantastic. It has a sort of super high detail painting look to it, I'm not sure how they do it but I really like it. Also, if anyone from MB is reading this... please don't sue me! I'll be sure to add pictures of the other things I'll be hanging from my walls as I decorate my new condo... as you can probably guess I'm a single male so it's going to be rather "man-cave" like.... I'm planning to enjoy it while I can!

Now head to Michael's to get a fancy frame to frame that piece of car porn.

Where did you go to get that done, and (if you don't mind me asking) how expensive was it? I'd love to get a few prints like this on my wall.

easycanvasprints.com, and with this coupon code I was under $40 shipped. I don't work with, nor am I affiliated with that site, but damn they did a good job at a great friggen price! Pro-tip, blow the image up to the exact size you're ordering on your computer to see if it might look pixelated due to poor resolution. It took me a loooong time to find a picture with high enough resolution to come out good.

I honestly haven't decided on whether or not I'm going to frame it. I'm looking for a brushed aluminum/silver metal style canvas frame that I like but there's not a whole lot out there (or I just don't know where to look!)

A print like that looks best with no frame I'd say. Let the print itself be the masterpiece.

I think I'm with you on this one... especially considering it already has hardware on the back of the wood frame, it's not like I'm stapling a poster to my wall like back in my college days! This is classy art now! Plus every frame I see for canvas artwork is too fanciful and old fashioned, I think an intricate wood frame around a print like that would be silly.

Yup, and a cheap wooden frame would look just that.. cheap... Nah mate, keep it as is I say,

How many pixels would you recommend for something like that? Like a 16x20 or something that size?

DPI factors in to it as well, ideally a 16"x20" print would be at least 2400x3000 pixels (that's with a DPI of 150). I try to stay in the 200+DPI range but that's not always practical...

Such a great idea. Personally, I don't like the flashy wheels, so I prefer this angle:
Come to think of it, it looks inspired on Panamerenko's work:

That looks incredible. I may have to do that with the Jaguar F-Type Coupe (one of my new favorite cars).
