My notifications haven't been working for the past 2 days. Anyone else with this problem?

I'm getting notifications, but when I click my icon a the top of the page, they fail to load. I have to click "see all notifications" to check them out.

Click on "see all", if you get a 401 then refresh.. if that does not help, contact Ernie or Steve or something at gawker tech. I had the same problem, they made some tweaks to my account, and now it works like a charm.

Have you tried deleting/dumping your cache?

Mine has been doing the same thing, never loads so I goto see all, then refresh.

Yes, for the last 3 or 4 days.

Also, like BlazinAce and Squid have mentioned, I'm notified of some but when I go to look they're not listed. This was happening yesterday and today.

Hey, what web browser are you using? Does it just show the loading barber-pole when you open up the drop-down menu?

It's working now, although I'm not sure about other people and if it will happen to them. I used Safari on iPad and Mac, then tried Google Chrome. And yes, it just showed the barber pole.

Hmm, OK. Let me know if this pops up again. Send an email to help@gawker.com as well and either myself or Steve will be able to jump in and help troubleshoot some more. I'll be filing a bug report with our tech team as well about this, since the damn barber pole has been happening to others as well (including myself).
