My family and I like to watch movies together, so my dad figured some laserdiscs would be cool (I was going to get some just for me originally, but he said he'd pay for some if the family likes them, which is awesome). My budget is $15. Here's a list of movie's I've found on ebay for the family
Independence Day- $4.99
James Bond movies ( Dr.No, For Your Eyes Only, Live and Let Die, The Spy who Loved me, Never say Never Again)- $4.99
The Terminator- $5.95
Terminator 2 Judgement Day- $5.95
Toy Story-$4.95
Forrest Gump- 99 cents
Total Recall- $2.99
and for me now, I'll just get these with my own dosh:
Monty Python and the Holy Grail- 99 cents!
Godzilla King of the Monsters- $9.99
Godzilla vs Mothra- $14.99
Godzilla vs Spacegodzilla- $24.99
Die Hard 1,2,3- $7.99
Ferris Bueller's Day Off- $9.99
Bullitt- $2.99

if you can find a "Goldfinger" for less than 15 dollars, spend your entire budget on it.

Dude you need to find The Wizard of Speed and Time on Laserdisc. You really need that one. Go find it and be amazed. Also, I really love Laserdiscs, it makes me laugh just saying the name.

Haven't found one so far, and I'd rather get a few Bond movies than one for that dosh

Goldfinger is, in and of itself, better than the rest of entire bond catalogue combined. In fact, you know what, you find it for less than 1o dollars and it is my gift to you. Just send me the link and the mailing address.

I guess it is kinda rare and cult classicy, but it is well worth the search for it. It is a showcase for true genius in stop motion film making.

Dude, I'm talking Laserdiscs, not DVDs. Laserdiscs are just for the awesome factor because they are so huge. Of course Blu rays look better, but that's not the point. Besides, I got my Laserdisc player for free.

Totally, my co-worker buys up Laserdiscs for the same reason. It's hilarious. I honestly respect his Laserdisc collection as much as I do my my BluRay's.......because of his dedication and love of the thrill of the hunt.....because at the root of it all; the hunt is better than the kill.
