That's one ugly cheap looking engine cover. It doesn't even really cover anything, what's the point???

creates a seal with the inside of the scoop and channels the air more directly through the intercooler and covers all the accessory belts of the front of the engine. I have also heard it is meant to direct water and other crap coming into the engine compartment through the hood scoop away from the top of the engine.

Interesting...I never really bothered to check how snug it fit with the intercooler and the scoop on my LGT (it looks a little less ugly than this WRX unit I must say), will have to take a look.

heh, I too have a LGT, and the cover is far nicer looking. but yeah, there is foam on the edge of the diffuser on the inside of the scoop that mates with the cover for an airtight seal. (at least on an LGT)

It's still a bit disappointing in the looks department. And really, nothing else seems to be even fighting it in the affordable 4 door performance sedan market. Maybe the evo, but I dislike that car.

Really, IDK what I would buy.
