These are not real. By that I mean they never rolled off a Pontiac or Oldsmobile assembly line in this fashion. But they should have damn it.

Actually, there were three GTO wagons built in 1972 by plant workers (fellow jalops? proto-jalops?) In 1972 you could also order what was known as the T41 front end. This got you the "GTO" hood and fenders. The T41 front end could be ordered on any Lemans or wagon.

But if I remember right the endura front end could be ordered regardless of drive-train. So that doesn't count! 1972: no 455, no GTO. And I've heard (read) the stories of the real Goat wagons, but I've never seen one once of documentation they exit. Like the Kennedy conspiracy, no one could have remained silent this long.

And there's this. I posted something of the sort the other day, but about the sedans. I see wagons done up like this on occasion, including Chevys and Buicks. But never have I seen a sedan nor does GIS turn up anything.
