Hmmmm, fast food poutine, can't say its been successful in the past (Harvey's, KFC, Wendy's, etc.), but we'll see how that works. I know that McDonalds in La belle province have had them for a while, how is it for fast food?

Poutine should come to The states. I had it in Canada a few summers ago and it was great.

That would be a ridiculous thing if I find myself in NYS some time.

What the hell is poutine?

Oh, it's a Canadian thing. Fries, gravy, and cheese sounds very American though. Would sample.

I had some at a great little brewery/restaurant and it was mind blowingly good. They used ingredients from the farmer's market down the street and it showed. Loved it so much I get it everytime I go...I kinda want some soon now, thanks......

Scratch that! I thought it was american, but I found out it's a Canadian food chain that I never heard. Here we have Poutineville and La Banquise that does amazing poutines. I gotta try Smoke's one day.

I've never had their poutine, but I'm confident in my assumption that it's not very good.

For the love of all that's delicious and salty, please do so.

I would gladly drive up there to try some real poutine rather than the half-assed crap I've been doing for the last couple years.

McDo's poutine is alright but they don't have the right fries for it to be a true poutine.

Poutine should be made with belgian type fries (thicker, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside) or at least, big fat soft fries.

The gravy is ok, the cheese curds are not bad but it is better when they are fresh and have not been refrigerated (more skweeky!)

Just like a McDonald's burger is not like any other burger and the fajitas are not typical mexi-cali fajitas, their poutine is not like other poutines. It is a McDonald's poutine.

If you want to try Poutine, go to a Poutine place.
