Want now, did any of them not rot away?

Precious few, it would seem. Here's one in a museum, this and this lucky bastard:

...are the only modern imagery I can even seem to find. Probably easier by an order of magnitude to buy a T-34 than one of these.

Man, that's a shame. I mean, given the condition of the economies and such in Russia/old USSR it doesn't surprise me they're all planter boxes now.

But man is it a shame.

It's not a terribly bad setup for a car. Basically a 30's Ford-styled pressed body on a solid frame, Ford-similar front and rear axles (with torque tubes, I think), and a nose restyled to slightly resemble an International D or Willys Overland. Simple, simple, simple - might not be hard to build a replica.

Somebody found one a while back, looks like (not 4wd). It also seems the non-4wd versions are much more common, so you'd only have to build a front axle... maybe.
