!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! TL/DR version: NSX will have twin-turbo 3.5 V6, New Civic Type R will have 280hp turbo and try to break Ring record for FWD car, Honda V6 engines may be replaced by turbo-4.

Are the days of HOnda's awesomeness coming back? YES!!!

All good news except ditching the V6 for a turbo-4. I can see why they're doing it though, as Hyundai and Kia have the Turbo-4 engines in their family cars (and they're force-feeding consumers BS about turbo engines being better). I'm gonna miss hearing the exhaust notes from those great Honda V6 engines.

Yay on the 3.5 twin turbo, nay on the hybrid system for the NSX.

NSX will have twin-turbo 3.5 V6, (...) Honda V6 engines may be replaced by turbo-4.
So the NSX will have a triple turbo-4?

Haha

Given the 918, P1, and LaFerrari are all using hybrid systems now I don't think it will be too bad.

I like twin turbo 3.5's. ECOBOOOOOOOOOST! What will Honda call it?

No drivetrain porn? Shame on you, Automatch!

New Civic Type R will have 280hp turbo
Honda's smart. I hope that they A, make it look good, and B, eliminate torque steer. Also, bring the Type R to the US pls. More importantly, bring back the S2k

Don't jump the gun here. The NSX is obviously going to be prohibitively expensive, the Type R has about a 1 in 1 million chance of making it to North America and if it does will the neuter it like they did the SI hatchback for 02-05? Honda has two cool cars in the works, none in production...lets wait and see.

Fine, it will be called Green Dream instead.

I'm sure it'll perform just fine, it's just that I don't like hybrid systems in my supercars. Personal preference, that's all.

Lol I had to google that one. I missed the whole earth dreams movement.

Is this the Honda of yore? I hope so.

Maybe they'll call it the Shoganai system.
NSX passed you in a stoplight race? Shoganai. NSX faster than your P1 or 918 on the 'ring? Shoganai. NSX out-cornered your Veyron? Shoganai. You can accept that your car isn't as good, or you can buy an NSX right now!
Can't afford an NSX? well...Shoganai.

Hmmmm. A Type R swap into my prelude.... This sounds promising. OEM turbo setups ftw.

Im sorry bud, I dont mean to burst any bubble but honda has been breaking my heart for so long now that I cannot possibly trust that they will do the right things to mend our relationship. I have waited at a table for two for them, quietly sipping my water and checking my watch... People are starting to stare.

I'd imagine trying to beat a 'ring record for a FWD car they'd do there best to minimize torque steer.

I know... I so much want them to return, but i know they won't. I try to stay positive.

As do I.... its just difficult when they appear to only care about Europe and Japan and release shit like the 12-13 civic si in the USA. Have they seen the focus st? or Fiesta ST? aren't they worried? I'm a millenial and a Honda Fanboy but I just bought a new ST rather than wait any longer for something honda has failed to do in the last 10 years.
