Guy represents area with significant homeless population. So whats his solution? Wield a big sledge hammer, walk around, and destroy carts that are fuxxorz. He's destroyed 30 of them, and returned 9 that were still in good nick. Let's not ignore the potential private property damage this guy is committing. It's only a matter of time before he targets homeless people's cars next for expired registration and back taxes.

He is just doing what we do best in this country: declare war on things.
War on homeless=No homeless
War on Drugs=No drugs
Whens the last time you could easily get illegal drugs?

The homeless war has been waged here now too.
They aren't allowed to panhandle, if they are caught they get put in jail (counterproductive maybe?)
But I can remember when I was younger riding around on my bike before the homeless woke up and seeing them sleep on all the benches and the parks.

What a fucking asshole, "Look, that guy is living out of a shopping cart, lets go fuck up what little remains of his life"
How the fuck does he think this is helping? I mean they're on a fucking island, it's not like they can just go to another state.

so.. now they'll just go and get a new cart. So all he's doing is damaging the stores property.

I'm sure I'll be attacked for this since people have already referred to this guy as a "f****** douche", but I'll ask the question anyway; why are all the comments here about what an A-hole this guy while not mentioning the problem the homeless pose. I just read an article that stated Hawaii's own statistics put the homeless population at 17000. On a series of islands where folks derive their income from tourism. Just what those tourists want to see; homeless people mooching money and food. Why should they allowed to destroy the income of those that work? Those carts, they belonged to some business and tbe homeless stole thm.

Yeah...private property damage. Even if the homeless have possession of carts, they still belong to the store from which they were liberated.
The carts cost anywhere from $350 to $750 EACH. So yeah, douchebag guy destroyed private property....
