This New Zealand pilot prepares for an approach to landing by skimming the tops of snow covered mountains as the sun nears the horizon. He drops into the clouds as he points the aircraft directly at a mountain. Trusting only his instruments for navigation, he breaks through onto final approach. Tunneling under an overcast layer and through a valley he follows a river to to the runway and a successful landing. Skip to 2:35 for the cloud shots.

Scenes like that make me want to get my pilots license, but there's something unnerving to me about the lateral movement you feel in a small plane.
