NOOOOOOOOPE. It's not edgy at all. Not at all. Okay, it's actually pretty damn edgy, but this is my way of saying there's worse out there. Much worse. You guys have no idea. NSFW edgier ad after the jump.
I did warn.

the most simple ad I have ever seen. It doesn't even need translation.

I'm not sure of the effectiveness of that ad, I don't even know what they were trying to sell me.
I do really want to go to a Suzuki dealer though...

There's an ad for the NSU Ro80 out there somewhere with a woman lifting her shirt to expose underboob and the "o" is around her bellybutton. Similar sort of ROTARY = TEH SEX advertising. Couldn't find it, though, and the British car mag I saw it in (I think Classic and Sports Car ~ May '96) is at home, so no scan.

I had one. Actually, I inherited it from my dad after he passed away, but he'd had it since I was a kid. Before this Suzuku he was a solid Harley/Triumph rider, but he got tired of having to repair them all the time and somehow got the idea to check out some other brands.
The GT-380 was a a great little 2-stroke clone of the Triumph triples of the time and they sounded great! Also, despite the small size, those bikes would SCREAM, certainly not for the meek. These were the little brother of the famous Suzuki 750 "Water Buffalo" but in my opinion it was a better bike.Lighter, faster and just seemed to have a little more personality.
If there was a downside to them it was that they were a bit of a pain to repair though when the SIX carbs (2 carb/cyl) would go out of sync. Other than that not a bad bike in regards to reliability. I ended up having to get rid of it several years ago because the parts were made pretty much of unobtainium and this was a bit before the recent interest in restoring Japanese classic bikes became a thing. Parts might be a little easier to source now....
Someday if I can find one in decent shape, I might get it and redo it to look like dad's old bike just kind of as a little rolling memorial to him.
I reward you this great sound for bringing back some good memories for me.

Thanks for sharing that and the vid! I can't see myself on such a small bike though, so I'll have to find another topless girl-magnet.

Like I said, don't let the size fool you a 2-stroke 380 is a beast in disguise.
