It's a Stage 1 Roush! That means they put stickers on it, right?

-An S197 that's sub-$6k, what?!

They're becoming a hell of a bargain. Especially since both the Windsor and the Modular engines have enough aftermarket that they have an aftermarket support better than the new Mustang's current support.

In the Chicago area and looking for a project with son or daughter?
I can't recommend a first-generation Mustang enough

That's at the top of my "fun car" list. If you're willing to go closer to $10K you can get Mach 1's, 01 Cobras, etc. Or just really really low mileage GTs.
I had a 2003 GT autocross car that I won out the entire season with. Just had Koni adjustable shocks, H&R springs and decent tires. Love those cars.

The stage 1 roush was basically just cosmetics, although I see it also has the side exit exhaust and a CAI. I don't think those wheels are original, they look to cheap. Every SN95 roush I've seen has these
Also, that S197 is a high mile V6 car, I bet at that price it's been in an accident to.

I love that the first couple are 5.0's. Those were the best! (of course that's my opinion. no one is surprised?)

Yea those wheels are cheap aftermarket somethings. Roush stage 1 cars are all for the looks. The exhaust sounds good but I don't like side exit as the pipes have to turn 180 degrees after the mufflers then back again to head out the side which restricts power. The first GT(after removing the stickers) and the green 5.0 would have my money
