It's more of an East-Asian thing as people there loved the nuchal hump for (and I have no other way of saying this) good luck. They think it's like a warship. Uhhh......

Just curious, I have an Ornate Bicher, and at $65, he was above average, although I he would probably go for 150-200 now. (2 yrs old, much larger) I have seen some at the pet shops that will go for a few hundred as babies, but I was curious as to what something like this guy would fetch.

I can't really say for sure, but it usually depends on a number of factors - a few which made the aquaria market so unstable. Even the pH levels could sink the fish's value.
