I've seen a handful myself. Even got to sit in one a couple years ago. Probably what locked me in to being a gearhead, even though the process of becoming one started way earlier than that.

My thoughts? It weighs less than a BRZ, but has an engine over twice the size and power, and three times in the turbo model.

Funny story, my friend actually owns one (pictured), and I have to say, the fit and finish is top friggen notch (perfect panel gaps, everything is really damned close to "perfect"). That Audi V-8 sounds epic and makes me have funny feelings in my pants. But, well... don't hate me for this but it's not a car I believe I'd actually want to own. Hear me out! The seats, while aesthetically pleasing, leave a lot to be desired in the lumbar support. Also, it's a spine crusher on the suspension front, especially on the beat to death roads on the east coast. OK, I'll amend my previous statement, yes I would own the hell out of a Spyker C8, I'd keep it in my living room and take it to track days, but if I had to drive it more then extremely occasionally I don't know that I'd want it. Sorry, got a little rambly, this tends to happen when you're still awake at damn near 5am.

Personally I love them! I want to see one IRL so badly. The exterior styling is...interesting, to say the least. I wouldn't say its beautiful but its sexy in a certain way to me. That interior and the uniqueness really appeal to me as well. I am so drawn to the exposed shift linkage, but turned off by the government warning label that is slapped willy-nilly onto the passenger side brushed metal dash (USA).

Holy shitballs, I did not know it was this light! That is pretty awesome.

I'm kinda sad the SAAB-Spyker partnership didn't last longer. Could make for interesting technology sharing. The new B6 Venator could share engine choices with the Aeros/Turbo X... Maybe an even smaller model... Call it A4 Something, according to the naming scheme and have it cross over into Sonett territory... Lots of possibilities.

Such a huge fan. They aren't especially photogenic, but man is it show stopper in the flesh.
